Trainee Programmes

HBL has been approved by Institute of Chartered Accountants Pakistan (ICAP) to become an Industrial Training Organization for CA students. The CA trainee programme is a pathway for budding CA students to explore HBL and gain exposure to core functions. You’ll gain knowledge of how the business works, access to senior leaders in form of Technical supervisors and mentors who will catalyze your development. You will be placed in departments such Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, Internal Control Unit that will complement your studies.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Age: 19-25 years at the time of joining HBL as a trainee.
  • Qualification: Minimum Certified in Accounting and Finance (CAF) qualified students (9 papers)
You will be trained for a week after your induction to equip you with the necessary skills to perform exceptionally in your department. You will undergo rotations in key departments of the bank to develop invaluable business acumen and technical skills and will continue to hone skills working with our first-class team of experts. A programme designed to thoroughly develop ACCA students through practical experience and on-the-job training related to their field of study. The trainees initially go through rigorous classroom trainings at our Learning & Development facility where they are equipped with essential technical and soft skills. They are rotated through key areas of bank to get an overview of banking functions.
